Abstract

In February 2025, Nabire Regency year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation was 0.97 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.16.
Y-on-y inflation occurred due to changes in prices as indicated by an increase in the index for expenditure groups such as the food, beverage and tobacco group by 5.98 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.12 percent; equipment, tools and household maintenance group at 0.27 percent; health group at 3.30 percent; education group by 2.30 percent; food and beverage/restaurant supply groups; and the personal care and other services group at 2.12 percent. The expenditure groups that experienced a decline in the index were the housing, water, electricity and household fuel groups by 14.54 percent; transportation group at 0.44 percent; communication information and financial services group at 0.10 percent and recreation, sports and culture group at 0.01 percent.
The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for Nabire Regency in February 2025 was 0.29 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 2.43 percent.
