The National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) is an important source of employment data in Indonesia. Data from Sakernas results have been widely used by various groups, both at home and abroad. Therefore, the continuity of the availability and quality of Sakernas data must be maintained and improved.

Sakernas February 2024 was held during the COVID-19 endemic. For this reason, the implementation of Sakernas, both at the stage of preparing instruments, training instructors and officers, updating census block content, enumerating sample households, monitoring, and evaluating activities, still follows business processes that are adapted to the conditions of the COVID-19 endemic. All stages of activities are still recommended to implement health protocols, while maintaining the quality of the Sakernas data produced.

BPS Nabire Regency implemented the February Sakernas Training using online and face-to-face methods by optimizing the available budget. It is hoped that officers and supervisors in Sakernas will be able to carry out data collection activities correctly according to the concept and obtain data that suits field conditions.
