Abstract

In June 2024, Nabire Regency year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation will be 6.21 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 112.28.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index in: food, beverage and tobacco groups by 11.22 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 2.00 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group at 4.28 percent; health group at 0.77 percent; transportation group by 2.10 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 5.67 percent; education group at 0.21 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 7.18 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 4.22 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decline in the index were the clothing and footwear group by 1.45 percent and the information, communication and financial services group by 0.49 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate for Nabire Regency in June 2024 is 0.03 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate is 3.17 percent.
